The process towards dewy skin may seem long, time consuming and very expensive. But it’s actually pretty easy to achieve if you use the right products and routine. DO NOT disregard how important your diet and the amount of water you drink also plays a role in this.
Here we have used our expertise and knowledge to lay out our top tips to achieve that dewy glow.
- Cleanse: try to avoid harsh cleansers and make sure the product you use suits your skin type.
- Exfoliate: DO NOT overdo this step. Use gentle exfoliators and do not use them daily. 2-3 Times a week is more than enough. If you struggle with overdoing it, try chemical exfoliators.
- Moisturize: There is a difference between moisturizing and hydrating. Hydrating replaces lost moisture. Moisturizing seals in the moisture your skin naturally produces.
- Add vitamin C: Not only does it promote cell turnover, but it brightens the skin and helps stabilize uneven skin tones, all while also helping to neutralize free radicals.
- Stay hydrated: drink plenty of water, especially during the hot seasons.
- Try healthy fats: such as fish and nuts
- Stock up on antioxidants: Fruits and berries are a fantastic resource
- Limit the sugar: sugar has been shown to increase the amount of sebum (an oily, waxy substance produced by your glands) your body produces.
- Limit smoking
- Try and manage your stress
- Get plenty or sleep
